Adjustable leaves allow the beam to be independently limited from several sides, making it easier to adapt the lighting to scenic elements, objects or spaces. This solution is commonly used with Fresnel spotlights and other fixtures for which dedicated barndoors are available.

Depending on the model, the accessories may vary in size, design, mounting method and rotation capability. Selected solutions may also feature holders or pockets for additional filters and diffusion materials, providing further control over the characteristics of the emitted light.
